Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette Review!

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  Can you believe Christmas in right around the corner?  Since I am in the Christmas spirit I will be reviewing the Studio Gear Cosmetics Holiday Smokey Eye Palette!  Here's the run down from the official Studio Gear Cosmetics website
Be radiant on any occasion with this sultry, shimmery palette of dramatic shades – perfect for creating a classic smoky eye look, with a hint of unexpected golden glimmer. This collection of four complimentary eye shadows with matching blush deliver several day to night options that are both seductive and wearable. With pure color, pigment-rich formulations, you’ll be sure to smolder all night!
Now here's the low down on each shadow and blush!

Frost is a sheer silver/white shimmery eye shadow perfect for inner corner or highlight.
Platnium is a grey shimmery eye shadow
Snowy Glow is a shimmery pink/coral blush.
Glimmer is a shimmery gold/champagne eye shadow.
and Coal is a shimmery black eye shadow, which smokes the whole look out.

Snowy Glow and Glimmer are extremely pigmented, so they go a long way, but the other 3 are pretty sheer and need more product to stand out.  I was a bit weary at first, due to all the shimmer, but I have been using the palette all week, and it's my most reached for item.  Plus, I travel frequently, so the fact that it's tiny enough to fit in my makeup bag is a huge bonus!

This palette is perfect for this time of year, and will give your eyes a flair for all of your Holiday gatherings and New Years parties!  Also you can get 10% off your entire order with discount code SGHOLIDAY at www.studiogearcosmetics.com

Tell me your thoughts on the Palette in the comments, on Twitter (@NoMercy4Beauty) or on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BeautyIsMerciless).

Hope you all have a great day!

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation Review!

Hi everyone!  Hope you all had a great Halloween and are getting used to the time change!  Today I am going to be reviewing Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse foundation.  Here's the run down from the official Rimmel London US website

A feather light, oil free formula with an airy mousse texture that won’t feel heavy or greasy. Delivers all day shine control and blends flawlessly for a natural looking matte finish. Minimizes the appearance of pores.

I really like the packaging, however it gets dirty really easily, as I accidently set it in my setting powder and the cap is now the same color as my setting powder!

On the left is before the foundation, and as you can see I have pretty bad dark circles under my eyes.  On the right is with the foundation and you can see the dark circle have diminished pretty well.
Same as above, but with a front view, left is before and right is after.  You can see that compared to the left that my face is matte, and any discoloration (especially those under eye bags!) has disappeared.

Now the package looks like there may not be a lot of product in it, but it has the same amount, 1 fl oz. which is the same as most other foundations.  One thing I like is that it's a mousse, so it's not as runny as a normal foundation, you also don't need a lot, a pea size amount will due just fine.  The feel of it when it's applied is also really nice, it's very smooth, and as someone who extremely dislikes the feel of foundation, I found it really nice.

The only down side that I have come across is that if you have dry skin, then this may not be the right foundation for you.  I myself have dry skin, but with a good moisturizer, I found it was fine and didn't appear cakey or flakey.  Tell me your thoughts on the foundation in the comments, on Twitter (@NoMercy4Beauty) or on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/BeautyIsMerciless).

Hope you all have a great day!

Halloween 2013! Blood Splatter Mani!

Hello!  How has everyone been?  Sorry it's been awhile since I last posted, but I have been in the middle of a move, which is finally over, so posts will be coming out on a regular basis now!  Also it is the month of Halloween, and all things scary, so in spirit I did a Blood Splatter Mani.  If you weren't aware Halloween is my favorite holiday, I love all things Horror and what's scarier than the gore that is blood?

This was my first time doing this type of Mani, and for it being the first time I think it came out pretty good!

I used E.L.F's White as the base and Avon's Siren as the blood splatter.

Now the clean up was pretty bad, but it you tape up beforehand the cleanup isn't too bad.  Also if you were wondering how to do this here is a quick, not so quick, instruction guide:

1) Pick a white nail polish as the base, depending on what brand you use will depend on how many coats you need.  Most that I have found take 2 or 3 coats or more.
2) This is where you want to use some Scotch tape and tape around your nail if you want an easier cleanup
3)Now your going to want to find a place that you can afford to get a bit messy, or put down some paper to keep your house clean
4)Find a straw
5)Take any red nail polish and pour some onto a piece of paper, or whatever you have, and take your straw and dip the straw into the red nail polish.  It may take a few dips, you'll know when you see a film, made from the red nail polish, on the end of the straw.
6)Now blow into the straw a few inches above your nail, on the side that doesn't have the nail polish, I don't think it would taste too good.  The film on the other end will burst from the blow and create a blood splatter effect.  It may take a few dip and blows to get it the way you want, but it will look awesome when you finally get it!
7)Repeat steps 5 and 6 on the rest of your nails to get the finished look!

Hope that helps and if you have any questions just ask in the comments.

The only downside to this, for me, is that out of all of my topcoats, I can not find one that wont make the red run.  So if anyone knows of a topcoat that wont run, I would love to know!

Hope you all have a great day!

Wedding Mani!

Hi!  Hope everyone is having a great today!  As some of you know it is wedding season, can you smell the love in the air?  I went to my Cousin's wedding last week, and I had to share my Mani with you all!

I really love how this came out, especially since it was at the very last minute!  I had originally done my nails in ELF's Nude, but it chipped really badly by the morning of the wedding, and had to completely redo my nails!

I used CoverGirl's Misty Mauve and Kiss Nail Dresses in Princess!

Sorry if the photos are bad, as I said this was last minute, so last minute that I had to take the pictures in the car!  How many weddings have you been to this year and what did you do for your nails?

Hope you all have a great day!

Sinful Color's Ocean Side!

Hi!  Hope everyone had a great week and a great 4th of July!

I bought my first Sinful Colors a few weeks ago, and fell in love!  It dries really quickly and I love the colors!

Love this color!

It comes out more baby blue-ish here, but in certain lights it looks green, or teal!

Also this nail polish lasted 10 days, before it chipped! 10 DAYS!!!  I loved that!  The only issue I did have with it was that it left a bit of blue on my finger when I took it off, but it faded within a day!  Either way I love the color!

Have a great week!
